Canadian Emergency Response Benefit (CERB) – new program details

You may have heard of this new benefit program.  To facilitate sending these emergency payments or other benefits, credits or refunds, the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has partnered with Canadian financial institutions to offer online enrolment for receiving CRA direct deposits.

If you currently have direct deposit with CRA then no further action is required.

If you would like to set up direct deposits for your e-savings account, please contact us during normal business hours or complete a contact us form and we can guide you through the process.

– Promoting for the majority of staff has been implemented across all our workplaces in Canada
– Social distancing for mandatory in person meetings, with large groups or external meetings being facilitated virtually
– Staff are available to support customers and partners by phone and email
– Daily communication with staff via intranet regarding procedures and responsibilities on COVID-19
– Business travel suspended, other essential travel is limited and is being closely monitored
– Guided by the Federal and Provincial Health Authorities we are implementing self-isolation requirements for those with potential exposure or symptoms
